At the age of seven, Holly moved with her parents to New York. Early on in her career she began landing jobs in print ads and commercials—which lead her to realize she had a passion for acting. At age 15 she landed several small roles in: “Sweet Hearts Dance”, “New York Stories”, and “Born on the Fourth of July”. Four years after those movies she had booked three more movies under her belt: “Simple Men “, “Chain of Desire” and finally landing a larger role in “Dr. Giggles”.

Soon after “Dr. Giggles” came out, Holly finally landed a leading role in the TV drama ” Picket Fences” in 1992. The tv show was on air for 4 years. Holly appeared in a few more small movies the next couple of years, gaining more work experience.

In 1998, Holly’s friend Shannen Doherty told told her about a tv pilot that was centered around three young sister witches who fight evil. She auditioned for the middle sister and won the part. Holly is best known as Piper Halliwell from the hit tv show “Charmed”, the show ran from 1998-2006 on the WB.

Holly now lives in Burbank with her husband and their three sons.
